Gift Guide for Toddlers + Preschoolers | Ann-Marie Loves

If you read my previous post, you know that I am over the toy-nado. OVER. IT. I can only handle so many messes before I turn into the CRAZY MOM by 11 am. That being said, I’m putting my Grinch-y ways aside for the holidays because 1. I love Christmas, and 2. I love my children, and am vowing to only invest in things that I know Briar and Landon will love for years to come. After scouring the internet for weeks, here is my list of the top quality holiday gifts for both toddlers and preschoolers alike:

01. Building Blocks Set. A childhood classic! Briar plays with these daily at preschool so I know she will love them at home as well.

02. Melissa + Doug Cleaning Set. Not a day goes by that my broom and dustpan don’t get moved around the house and repurposed as oars and umbrellas and finish lines. This cleaning set is the perfect way for the kids to have their very own cleaning supplies (to use for anything but cleaning).

03. Tacos! An Interactive Recipe Book. When I was in Atlanta, I picked up this adorable book and my baking-obsessed three year old loves it. I’m positive that she will love the tacos version as well!

04. Chunky Alphabet Puzzle. Alphabets + rainbows in puzzle form? My kids say YES.

05. 2-in-1 Wooden Activity Table. I’ve been wanting to get the kids an activity table for a long time but we just didn’t have the space for it. Now that we’re moving to a bigger place and will have a play room, I know this play table will get hours upon hours of use!

06. Love Is a Truck. The perfect book for my anything-with-wheels loving one year old. (P.S. There’s a sister story called Love Is a Tutu!)

07. Wooden Rainbow Block Set. We’re big fans of rainbows around here and this wooden version would fit right in!

08. Silly Street. Briar has been super into games lately (Chutes + Ladders and Button Bingo are her current faves) so when I spotted Silly Street (part game, part puzzle), I knew she would love it!

09. Starry Globe Nightlight. This nightlight is equal parts form + function and would look so cute in Briar + Landon’s shared bedroom!

10. Little Tikes Big Waffle Block Set. Both of my kids love to build AND climb, so I’m hoping this will satisfy both of those needs while (hopefully!) (please?) wearing them out for bedtime!

11. Latches Wooden Activity Board. Not sure if I should be teaching them how to break into various doors and gates, but every time we are at the doctor’s office, both of my kids beeline for this puzzle. Might be time for them to have their own (non-germy) version.

What are your kids into this year?
