Mom Style | Second Time Around | Ann-Marie Loves

There have been some new additions to the family since my sister-in-law, Jamie, and I last made a Mom Style post!

Mom Style | Second Time Around | Ann-Marie Loves

I had Landon in September…

And Jamie had Laith in July.

Mom Style | Second Time Around | Ann-Marie Loves

Needless to say, we’ve doubled our group of kiddos! With new kids means new challenges and time constraints for us, so we thought it would be fun to show you all of our favorite products that we turn to these days now that we are moms of two.

Mom Style | Second Time Around | Ann-Marie Loves

Ann-Marie’s Picks:

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. I was first turned on to this product by a random beauty product video I watched on YouTube and I instantly added it to my Amazon cart. (Clearly I am a sucker for video tutorials.) I usually wear this mask about once a week and I love the way it makes my skin feels so smooth after I wash it off! I tend to have very problematic skin except in the early postpartum phase when my hormones actually work in my favor. Right now I’m in a good skin season of life, so I’m trying to stay one step ahead of the curve by treating my face to some TLC with gentle cleansers, moisturizers, and this mask.

Oversized Hat. I’m a hat person to the very end. They make me feel sleek. They make me feel pulled together. They make me feel like the designer / photographer / blogger that I am. Sometimes I wonder if I wear hats too often (is that such a thing?), but then I stop caring about what others think and just wear the damn hat for the millionth day in a row. Getting older has it’s perks…

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. I’ll be honest: there’s not a lot of hair styling going on over here these days. In fact, I consider it a successful day if I get around to brushing my hair…! But every now and then when I actually want to look slightly put-together, I’ll use this amazing texturizing spray on the ends of my hair and rub it in with my fingers until I achieve the right amount of body and shape. It’s a bit pricey but seriously worth every penny if you want killer results.

Get To Work Book. I could go on and on about how much I love this planner and how much it has revolutionized the way I approach my days. I not only use it for planning out the logistics of daily life, but I also use it as a notepad for creating shopping or packing lists, too. And that pink highlighter art on the cover is courtesy of Briar ;)

Wrinkle Releaser Spray. Okay, this is a recent discovery of mine and I don’t know how I was able to ever leave the house before I had this spray! A few quick spritzes to a wrinkled item of clothing, a little tugging, and your outfit is smooth as can be! Who has time for ironing? Just get this spray and get on with your life!

Suede Ankle Boots. I don’t wear heels very often but when I do, I always feel polished and put-together. These lace-up ankle boots instantly take me out of mom-mode and straight into date night! Plus the thick heel makes for (relatively) comfy walking.

Sculpting Brow Mascara. I’ve mentioned this product in past Mom Style roundups, but it’s worth mentioning again. As long as I have this eyebrow mascara and a little foundation on, I feel like I can greet the day with confidence. I’m telling you (especially my fellow blondes!), defined eyebrows make all the difference on a face.

Gold Sunglasses. These glasses are borderline tacky and I think that’s why I love them so much! I adore a little unexpected kitsch in my life and I feel like such a cool mom while heading into Trader Joe’s with a baby in the Ergo and a toddler holding my hand. You have to find those little things that make you feel like the best version of yourself and these glasses totally do it for me.

Essential Oil Diffuser. Quality time to myself is far and few between these days, so one of my favorite parts of the day is when I can sneak away for a shower. I grab a glass of wine, I turn on my new oil diffuser, and I enjoy the five minutes of peace and relaxation before I take on the real world again.

Mom Style | Second Time Around | Ann-Marie Loves

Jamie’s Picks:

Facial Serum. My morning facial routine goes as follows: Honest Company body wash to clean my face, blot dry with towel, apply a few pumps of this facial serum to my face, spray with rose glycerin water, then depending on how dry my face has been I’ll apply a small amount of coconut oil as well. If I’m going to wear a light tinted moisturizer for a more even look I skip the coconut oil and apply the tinted moisturizer. This serum works well as a primer, too.

Chivas Lip Balm. I’ve been leaning more towards organic, cruelty-free, and locally made products. This lip balm comes from a goat farm in Ventura County here in Southern California. Most of the ingredients are organic. The light scent and smooth texture feels and smells delicious. With our home heater set on high lately my lips should be chapped, but this balm has kept them silky smooth.

Rose Water Spray. My cousin introduced me to this product in November and I’ve used it daily ever since. This comes with or without glycerin. I prefer the glycerin for the moisturizing benefit. I use it every morning and often throughout the day to refresh my face (with or without makeup on). Three sprays gives me just the right amount of moisturizing coverage. Anything more I feel the glycerin weighing down on my skin. I will apply heavily at night when my skin is extra dry.

Candles. If I could cover all the surfaces in my home with candles, I would! But for a certain little two year old’s safety, I cannot. Candlelight has a very calming effect on me. I’m always on the hunt for a good smelling, clean-burning candle. Any candle that will make my house smell like cookies or pies baking will make it’s way home with me.

Robe. I have three of these light cotton robes in rotation. They are scattered through out my house…in the bedroom,  bathroom, laundry room. If I’m not leaving the house, you can bet money I’ll be wearing a robe all day long.

Turkish Coffee. I love my coffee! This year for Christmas my husband bought me this Turkish coffee pot. Up until now, we have only enjoyed Turkish coffee while on vacation or when visiting family so it’s been a treat for us to have it at home whenever we want. My husband makes better Turkish coffee than I do and he will tell everyone the same. Sipping a hot cup of Turkish coffee in my home is a double treat. My love language is Acts of Service, so when my husband brings me a steaming, freshly-boiled cup of Turkish coffee, my heart overflows with love.

Aromatherapy Essential Oils. The kids and I have made it a nightly routine to add lavender or eucalyptus to the bath water. Aromatherapy is good for the soul, good for the whole family. When the oils come out, I know bedtime is near.

Organic Cotton Pads and High-Waisted Underwear. First, let’s talk about the cotton “boobie pads.” I am so happy I found these shortly after my first baby. I have tried disposable nursing pads and have hated them every time. The synthetic materials are not breathable and chafe my skin. The cotton pads are thick, extra absorbent, and are easy to care for. I’ve used the same batch for over two years. I put them in the washer and dryer with the rest of the clothes. If I’m on top of my laundry game, they all make it into a garment bag for washing. Secondly, I’d like to talk about my newfound love for high-waisted panties. My last baby was born via c-section. It was an amazing experience: no post-surgery complications, manageable pain, and a smooth recovery. The only thing I have been struggling with are the nerves that were severed at the c-section incision. It’s the strangest sensation; sometimes painful, sometimes numb, sometimes it doesn’t feel like a part of my body. Needless to say, I’ve been very sensitive to touch in that area. Waistbands are uncomfortable when worn over my incision. I’ve found higher waisted jeans, work scrubs, and underwear to be most comfortable. These underwear are my favorite! They are silky smooth, breathable, and super stretchy. The waistband comes nowhere near my incision!

Dr. Bronner’s Soap. My husband and I both use this for body wash. I prefer the eucalyptus scent but he prefers the lavender scent. Since I love him so much, I always pick up his favorite. Nothing feels better at the end of a long day than a hot, steamy shower with a sea sponge lathered up in fragrant suds.

32 Weeks | Ann-Marie Loves

32 WEEKS! Okay, that feels insane typing out that number. Life feels like such a blur these days, I kind of just want to freeze this moment so I can catch my breath!

I had an ultrasound on Tuesday and it was estimated that he’s currently about five (!) pounds! Everyone seemed a little surprised by how big he is at this stage, but no one more than me. Thankfully my doctor reassured me that all will be well and if he’s starting to get too big, we can induce at 39 weeks. I have to say, the idea of knowing I might have an induction date is a relief to me. I was induced with Briar and it went swimmingly (despite my former fears about the process). So who knows what will happen? I’m trying to relax and trust that it will all work out. Easier said than done, of course ;)

32 Weeks | Ann-Marie Loves

This baby is definitely much more up in my ribs and my hip bones than Briar ever was, so the sensations are totally new to me. I woke up yesterday with my stomach completely shifted to the left side…so crazy! I’ve also noticed a shift in my energy for the better after my last blood test signaled my iron levels were low. Thanks to the combination of prenatal vitamins and iron supplements, I’m feeling much more energetic these days than I was before.

32 Weeks | Ann-Marie Loves

In terms of dressing this ever-growing bod, well, it’s all about the maxi dresses. I now have four dresses from Pinkblush (including this one that I’m wearing in the photos!) and believe me when I say they have been my best pregnancy investment. Not only are they super comfy and easy to wear but they don’t scream maternity so I know I’ll continue to get plenty of use out of them long after our bub arrives. Being massively pregnant at the height of the summer is not exactly a walk in the park (in fact, there are no walks in the park happening because IT’S. TOO. HOT.), so keeping my wardrobe simple is a huge help.

32 Weeks | Ann-Marie Loves

I keep wondering what, if anything, I’ll want to do differently this time around and all I can think is that I want to ENJOY more.

The hardest phase with Briar was definitely the first few weeks. In hindsight, I wish I would have relaxed and enjoyed those early days where she just wanted to sleep, eat, repeat. I remember having to set my alarm in the middle of the night so I could make sure she was being fed every 2-3 hours (per the pediatrician’s orders) and it felt so counterintuitive. She was nearly impossible to awaken and I was a zombie myself, so I’m honestly not sure if much was getting accomplished. However, once Briar began steadily gaining more weight and the doctor was pleased with her progress, things got a little easier. Breastfeeding became second nature, getting things done while holding or wearing her started to feel normal, and I began to grow my confidence as a capable and loving mom. I’ve also seen the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to sleep deprivation. It took over a year to get Briar to sleep through the night but now she can easily put away ten glorious hours and I barely remember what life was once like! I know it will be challenging. I know I’ll feel the same frustrations I felt the first time around. I know there will be growing pains and lessons to learn and adjustments to make. But I’m not stressed about it.

32 Weeks | Ann-Marie Loves

I’m well aware that these last few weeks are going to fly by, so I’m doing my best to enjoy every moment + milestone!

third trimester essentials.

Posted on: Thursday, July 21, 2016

I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to pregnancy (postpartum is a completely different story), so I don’t require too many things as the months tick by, but there are definitely some items that I’ve found myself turning to as I get deeper into the third trimester:

Third Trimester Essentials | Ann-Marie Loves

01. Tums. Let’s be real: antacids are the REAL star of the show when it comes to pregnancy. I had crazy heartburn with Briar and I have crazy heartburn with this baby. (What can I say, I’m a lucky gal.) I keep these by my bedside so I can pop them in the middle of the night when reflux seems to be the worst.

02. Fan. I am always hot so I’ve turned my bedroom into a mini wind tunnel with an overhead fan and a portable fan running at all times.

03. Mustela Ultimate Hydration Lotion. The jury is out on whether or not stretch marks can be prevented, but I prefer to be proactive and lather on lotion after every shower. So far, so good!

04. Bathing Suit. Like I’ve mentioned before, Briar and I are beating the heat by spending the majority of our summer days in the pool. Normally I feel a bit self-conscious in a bathing suit, but when I’m pregnant? I’ll happily parade around town in one all day, everyday ;)

05. Peaches. I’m in love with peaches all year round, but when I’m pregnant, I can’t get enough. Lately I’ve been loving them in my morning oatmeal with almonds. Mmmm…

06. Liz Lange Maternity Shorts. I don’t even like to wear shorts normally (they’re not my best look) but when it’s hot out and I need to chase Briar around, shorts are ideal. These have a stretchy band that you can pull over your belly or fold over around your waist to keep them in place. I bought the bermuda style and then cut a small slit on the seam of each leg so they could have a bigger cuff.

07. Firm Pillows. I know a lot of people swear by their pregnancy pillows, but with a queen size bed, a giant u-shaped pillow is not exactly doable. That’s okay though, as long as I have one firm pillow behind my head and one under my top leg to offset the weight of my belly as I sleep on my sides.

08. Maxi Dresses. I’m obsessed with PinkBlush maternity dresses because they don’t scream MATERNITY. Instead, they’re super comfy, super stylish clothes that I can wear long after the baby arrives.

09. Birkenstocks. My feet aren’t swollen (yet) but with the rising temps and the amount of energy it takes to bend down these days, Birks are my go-to footwear.

Mama + Baby Top Knots | Ann-Marie Loves

When I was pregnant with Briar and trying to imagine what she would look like, I always envisioned straight dirty blonde hair with enviable bangs and a tiny top knot. While I was right about her hair color, I certainly never would have guessed that we would be blessed with a super curly-haired gal! It’s still a bit of a mystery as to where those curls came from (we suspect it’s John’s side) but now I can’t imagine Briar having anything else!

Mama + Baby Top Knots | Ann-Marie Loves

Her hair has grown like crazy over the past couple of months which means it is long enough to put into a tiny little ponytail worn on the top of her head, the same way I put up my hair. And the best part of all is that Briar is finally allowing us to put her hair up and leave it there all day. Before now, she would instantly pull out any ponytails, headbands, or barrettes…girl just wanted to be free!

Mama + Baby Top Knots | Ann-Marie Loves

I get such a kick out of seeing her hair up because she look a entirely different person, albeit a very grown up person! Plus, I would be lying if I said I didn’t love having a matching hairstyle as my babe. I keep thinking I want to cut my hair even shorter (I’m in full-blown MOM MODE), but then I think, nope, you need enough hair for a top knot! We’ll see…

As for now, it’s matching top knots for the two of us!

my mom’s a gem + diamond earrings giveaway!

Ann-Marie Loves x JTV | Diamond Earrings Giveaway!

My mom and I are definitely different people, but there are a few key things that make us two birds of a feather:

  • We love a good mall. We will travel far and wide for a good mall.
  • Our favorite place to eat is at Cava in Montecito. It’s a long way to go, but it’s worth the trek for seafood enchiladas!
  • We’re both night owls who love nothing more than sleeping in.
  • We can’t decide if “You’ve Got Mail” or “It’s Complicated” is our favorite movie. So we watch both. A lot.
  • We are forever running at least fifteen minutes late. It’s the worst habit in the world yet neither of us can seem to break it.

Ann-Marie Loves x JTV | Diamond Earrings Giveaway!

And finally, we both have come to appreciate the value of understated jewelry. Okay, let me clarify: my mom has always appreciated the value of understated jewelry. Me? Not so much. I had to go through many an oversized J. Lo hoop earrings / blinged-out costume jewelry phase throughout my high school + college days to get to where I am now. But hey! Here we are, together.

Ann-Marie Loves x JTV | Diamond Earrings Giveaway!

The bottom line is that my mom is my best friend and the first person I thought of when it came to gifting a pair of these beautiful white diamond stud earrings from JTV’s collection of insanely gorg diamond jewelry. After all, she’s the one who taught me everything I know: how to be a friend, how to be a mother, how to be a wife, and how to see the bright side of any situation. She’s a gem.

Now it’s your turn to win a pair of these earrings! To enter, follow JTV on Instagram and then leave a comment below letting me know what your ideal morning looks like. I’ll announce the winner at the top of this post on Friday April 22nd! Good luck!

Ann-Marie Loves | Thoughts on Squeezing It All In | Vaseline Lip Tins

My new favorite phrase that I apply to just about any scenario is “LIFE.” Because really, life! It happens for the best and it happens for the worst but it just keeps happening whether we are ready or not. Most days I feel like I hit the ground running and don’t stop until my head hits the pillow again. Caring for a toddler while trying to fit in work and blogging and friends and family and occasionally trying to squeeze in a little “me time” is an ongoing juggling act that I have yet to master. So I’ve made it my mission this year to simplify, simplify, simplify wherever possible!

Ann-Marie Loves | Thoughts on Squeezing It All In | Vaseline Lip Tins

Getting out of the house in the morning is always huge production with a toddler in tow, but one thing that has made it a little bit easier are Vaseline Lip Therapy Tins. I’ve been using Vaseline products for years, for everything from removing my eye makeup to hydrating my dry skin to softening my feet with socks overnight, so to now have the product in a lip care format (in a cute tin to boot!) is exactly what I needed. Even if I don’t have time to do my hair and makeup, I always make sure to slather Vaseline on my lips before I run out the door.

Ann-Marie Loves | Thoughts on Squeezing It All In | Vaseline Lip Tins

I recently picked up a bunch of different lip tins from Target (yessss!) and have them stashed just about everywhere: my makeup bag, my purse, my coat pocket, my car, my bedside table…all over the place!

Ann-Marie Loves | Thoughts on Squeezing It All In | Vaseline Lip Tins

Even Briar loves to get in on the action by repeatedly opening and closing the lids (and occasionally dipping her finger in them!). We live in Southern California where super dry Santa Ana winds wreak havoc on our skin and lips, so I figure it’s never too early to teach her survival skills!

Ann-Marie Loves | Thoughts on Squeezing It All In | Vaseline Lip Tins

Thanks to Vaseline Lip Therapy Tins, I’ve been able to simplify my beauty routine and spend those saved minutes on things I actually want to do, like play with traveler’s notebooks! I made this one out of scratch paper and I love keeping it in my bag (along with my tins!) and pulling it out to document little moments from my crazy but very happy life.

Traveler’s notebook supplies: handmade notebook // Heidi Swapp polka dot mask // Yellow Distress Ink // Blending Tool // Black Ink Pad // Push Print Studio printables // Stamps // Gold Paper Clips

Mom Style | Summer Picks for Toddlers Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

It’s hard to believe that Jamie and I are no longer moms of infants, but instead, two super curious, super adorable toddlers! (I could swear we were just pregnant??) Things are definitely a little (okay, A LOT) different than they were last summer when we had our babies, so we thought it would be fun to share our recent favorite baby products. Here’s what’s getting us through these long, hot days:

Mom Style | Summer Picks for Toddlers Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

Ann-Marie’s Picks:

+ Swimsuit // I gotta say, shopping for baby swimsuits is one heck of a lot more fun than shopping for mommy suits! I’ve found some really cute ones at Baby Gap and Janie + Jack.

+ Toes, Ears, & Nose // We’ve been reading to Briar since she was only a few days old, but books are just now becoming her activity of choice. She is especially fond of this cute book, complete with flaps and fun illustrations.

+ Sun hat // Getting Briar to wear a hat is always an exercise in trying to distract her before she notices something is on her head, but this sun hat is in constant rotation.

+ Ban.do Watermelon Bag // So technically this bag is designed to be a cooler, but from the moment I saw it, I knew it would make for the perfect diaper bag! Not only is it ridiculously cute but the waterproof liner is ideal for keeping spills and odors at bay.

+ Beco Gemini Baby Carrier // I’ve talked about my love of baby carriers before, but I have to say, I love that this particular model allows me to safely wear Briar facing out! I’m a stickler about protecting her hips and Briar is a stickler about making sure she doesn’t miss a moment of the action, so this Beco Gemini is a win-win!

+ Triangle Blanket // This adorable hot pink / tan / black waterproof blanket from 7 A.M. Enfant is perfect for throwing in Briar’s diaper bag and spreading out on the grass.

+ Dapple High Chair + Toy Cleaner // Having a hungry, hungry toddler means lots of snacks eaten in her high chair. Since I don’t want to pull off and scrub down the tray every time Briar eats, I spray a little bit of this natural, baby-safe cleaner on it and call it good.

+ Gold Saltwaters // Now that Briar’s main mode of transportation is walking, it’s paramount that we have little shoes on her little feet when we go out in public. These baby Saltwaters are easily the cutest things I’ve ever seen…!

+ Bumgenius Cloth Diapers // We’re a little late to the cloth diapering club, but I am happy to finally be a part-time member! Even though we still use disposable diapers the majority of the time, having a few cloth diapers on hand helps ease the environmental and financial guilt of traditional diapering, plus it ensures that we never run out! I also love how these well-designed diapers can pass as bloomers during these unbearably hot summer months.

Mom Style | Summer Picks for Toddlers Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

Jamie’s Picks:

Mini Lunch Bag // I’ve used this bag since my pumping days! My breast milk stayed chilled on the long commute home from the clinic. Now, each morning I pull it out of the freezer and fill it with Luna’s meals for Grandpa Day Care.

+ Hot Pink Bathing Suit // This hot pink suit with yellow pom fringe caught my eye right away. Luna loves birds! Her face lights up when she points to the little birds on her suit.

+ Sunglasses // Luna loves a good pair of shades. Target has adorable inexpensive sunglasses so I don’t feel bad when a pair gets broken.

+ Maracas // Luna lives for music! She’ll find the beat and rhythm in anything. She dances and sings daily. She definitely dances like no one is watching, although she prefers to be watched. Her grandmother sings with her all the time. They are currently going through an old western song phase. Luna’s father will slow dance with her in the middle of a busy restaurant. I’ll turn the music up and rolled the windows down during our car rides. I love seeing her lips move and head bop in the backseat mirror. I hope her love for music and dance contuinue to grow.

+ Sandals // I don’t like to spend too much on Luna’s shoes so when I found these darling sandals on the clearance rack at T.J. Maxx, I scooped them right up! If she’s anything like her mother, she will live in sandals.

+ Baby Fedora // From day one, Luna has loved wearing hats. Luckily, this means we don’t have to apply so much sunscreen to her face. This makes Luna very happy.

+ Sippy Cup // Spill proof! Yes, please! I never leave home without a sippy cup full of water. It always finds its way to the bottom of my diaper bag, upside down of course.

+ Mexican Blanket // This particular blanket was a lucky thrift find and now it comes with us everywhere. It’s always in my trunk waiting to be pulled out at every park stop. (Similar blankets here!)

+ Babyganics Baby Sunscreen // I’m very particular with the products I put on Luna. Minimal organic ingredients. The less ingredients, and ones I can pronounce, the better.

Mom Style | Mom of Infants Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

I’ve decided that the next best thing to having my own sister is having a sister-in-law who also doubles as one of my best friends. Over the years, Jamie and I have grown super close. So close, in fact, that aside from our husbands, we were the first people each other told about our respective pregnancies! Jamie and I are opposites in many ways, but we also have a ton in common, including being new-ish moms to baby cousins (born three weeks apart!).

Having infant daughters has naturally changed our personal styles a little bit, so I thought it would be fun to share the products that each of us uses on a daily basis.

Mom Style | Mom of Infants Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

Ann-Marie’s Picks:

+ Fedora Hat // I am such a hat girl and I wear this Cotton On fedora entirely too much! Similar hat here.
+ MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick // I bought this lipstick in Elegant Accent for my wedding and still wear it as often as possible. It’s just the right shade for enhancing my pale skin without being too overwhelming.
+ Top Knot // Styling my hair is easily my least favorite beauty task (I’d rather shave my legs!), so more often than not, you’ll find a giant bun atop my head. This also means I have a million and one ponytails floating around the house!
+ Rings // The only jewelry pieces that I wear every single day are my wedding ring and a handful of super thin silver bands that John picked out for me on our honeymoon. I feel naked without them! Similar rings here.
+ Poncho // Wearing this poncho instantly makes me feel pulled together AND it is the ultimate cover up for nursing! Similar poncho here.
+ Backpack // A few years ago, I switched from using a standard purse to using a small backpack. This bag carries everything that I need for myself and Briar, plus it keeps my hands free.
+ Dry Shampoo // My hair errs on the oily side of the spectrum (GAH), so I live and die by my Suave dry shampoo.
+ Sunglasses // Okay, if I could only have ONE accessory, it would be sunglasses. Whenever I find a style that I love, I stock up on them knowing that they WILL be dropped or sat on or left behind somewhere. This tortoiseshell pair is my current favorite.
+ Red nail polish // Whenever my nails are painted, I feel more motivated. Strange but true. Tigerlilly is my go-to shade.

Mom Style | Mom of Infants Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

Briar and Luna are finally at the stage where they interact with each other…so much fun to watch!

Mom Style | Mom of Infants Edition | Ann-Marie Loves

Jamie’s Picks:

+ Humble Hilo Bag // This bag is so versatile. I mostly use it for my diaper / day bag, but it’s big enough to be used as an overnight bag, too. I switch between the shoulder strap and handles.
+ Striped Shift Dress // I love the length of this dress and it’s non-formfitting cut. The stretchy material makes it nursing-friendly plus you can never go wrong with a black and white stripe. I’d choose a dress over any other type of clothing any day of the week. Similar dress here.
+ Royal Jelly Body Butter // This body butter does wonders for my dry hands and my under eye area. It’s thick and creamy, relieving dry and itchy skin. I’ll use this alone or mixed with coconut oil.
+ Nail Polish // I’ve worn OPI’s Mod About You off and on for the last ten years. I feel that it complements my skin tone. It’s my go-to color.
+ Coconut Oil // I have found that coconut oil works best with my skin type. I like how light it feels on the skin. It’s gentle and doesn’t make me break out. I use it all over my body, not just on my face.
+ Lace Bralette // I found my current favorite lace bralette at a small clothing boutique near my house for $4.99! It’s soft and stretchy making it nursing-friendly. I also like pairing it with a loose fitting tank. It’s looks much prettier peeking out of a tank than a regular bra does. Similar bralette here.
+ Curling Iron // A large barrel curling iron is my must-have for my hair. It’s not every day that I can wash and blow dry with a little one yelling for Mama every two seconds. When my hair is oily and I don’t feel like putting it up in a bun, I turn my curling iron on and do a few loose textured curls. Spray it with some Big and Sexy hair spray and I am ready to go.
+ Sandals // These Target sandals are comfortable and light, plus they pair well with a maxi dress or jeans and a tank. I live in sandals.
+ Black Mascara // Any black Revlon mascara that makes it into my cart these days is my favorite. I love the look of long lashes. Instant glam!
